Job Description

A leading news publisher and digital print organisation is looking for an experienced Learning and Development Advisor to join their L&D team. The team ensure that learning is best in class by delivering challenging and engaging solutions which are relevant and enjoyable. This is a key role within the team as it will play an essential part in providing advice and support to people around all issues related to learning.

As the successful candidate, you will take responsibility for overseeing the company learning programme carrying out quarterly reviews to ensure first in class learning solutions. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the managed services team, taking responsibility for the professional qualification's apprenticeship levy offer, liaising with the business stakeholders and relevant apprenticeship levy providers as necessary to ensure market leading and best practice learning. You will also manage the onboarding process and new starter experience for all hires joining the company delivering on boarding sessions for new starters.

As a Learning Partner with client business areas you will consult on learning solutions and supporting the team with development activities that are either part of the curriculum or need designing.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for an experienced L&D Advisor who has worked in a fast paced and agile business. You will have learning design experience including digital and e-learning as well as facilitation and delivery. Good internal communication and relationship skills are essential as is a real passion for the learning.

It would be a real advantage to have a working knowledge of LMS, experience and knowledge of apprenticeship levy, psychometric assessment tools, supplier management experience and a good understanding of understanding of MI and reporting.
